Grilled Chicken Breast with Marinara Sauce

Measure and prepare all the ingredients.
In a mortar, crush the minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper together.
Mix the seasonings with the olive oil and coat the chicken breasts on both sides. - 2
Preheat the grill. If there are any leftover bits from previous grilling, let it burn off for a while.
Wipe the grill with a cloth to clean it. Once the grill is very hot, place the chicken on to cook. If using a charcoal or gas grill, make sure to keep a safe distance so the chicken doesn't burn. - 3
I made this recipe with fresh garlic, but I actually prefer using garlic powder. Fresh garlic can burn easily on the grill and turn bitter. Most of my grilled recipes use garlic powder—it's safer.
Serve with marinara tomato sauce. - 4
I use a gas grill with lava rocks.
