Heat ghee in kadai add kaju mustard seeds cumin seeds Saute well. Then add yellow moong dal green chilli curry leaves and then add suji /rava.

Then add hot water. Add salt as needed mix and check the salt.bring the water to a boil set the flame to medium.while stir the water with the other hands tir everything. once to check any lumps. breakup if any.cover and cook on a low flame until the water evaporates.open the lid and stir once.

Serve upma plain or with spiced podi chutney pickle or curd and enjoy.
