Gravy Sponge Gourd

Peel the sponge gourd and cut them into pieces.

Make a paste of tomato and onion.

In a pan add oil. Heat it up. Add asafoetida and cumin. Now add the paste and stir fry it for 2 minutes.

Add a bit of water and add gourd. Cover it with lid for 5 minutes. After that add all the spices and stir fry it on high flame. Serve with curd and chapati.
