Steps

Cut the sides of the bread and cut them in a triangular shape.

Take a pan. Add 1 cup of water and sugar into it. Boil it till it becomes half. Let the sugar syrup cool down a bit.

Now deep fry the bread slices and dip them in sugar syrup and remove it immediately.

Coat them with desiccated coconut and garnish it with some chopped pistachios.

In this recipe the problem is, the bread absorbs too much oil, it ends up becoming very heavy. So toast the bread till its crisp and crunchy before frying. That way it will not absorb so much oil. If I try this recipe anytimr soon, i'll post the pics too.
