Wheat Kheer(gehu ki kheer)

Soak wheat overnight by adding required amount of water.

Take a pressure cooker add soaked wheat along with required amount of water. Also utilize the water used for soaking. Cook till 5 to 6 whistle.

By the time take a pan add milk and keep it on low flame.

Once the wheat is boiled. Strain the water from the heat. Grind the wheat coarsely in mixer jar.

Now as the milk has boiled too,Add grinded wheat mixture in the milk. Also add jaggery, elaichi powder and let it be on simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. In between check and stir.

Once done garnish with sliced almonds and raisins. It's ready to be served hot or cold as per choice.
