Ingredients

15-20mins
4 servings
  • 2Khakhras
  • 1medium chopped Onion
  • 2medium Tomatoes
  • 1green chilli chopped
  • 4-5minced Garlic
  • 1dry red bedki chilli
  • 1 tbspChopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsptomato ketchup
  • 1 tsplime juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • For Cheese Sauce
  • 2cheese cubes grated
  • 2 tbspButter
  • 1 tbspMaida (all -purpose flour)
  • 4-5 tbspMilk
  • 1 tspmixed herbs
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl add 1 chopped tomato, onion, green chilli, minced garlic, coriander leaves, pinch of salt, lime juice. Mix well and refrigerate it for few minutes

  2. 2

    In a pan roast red bedgi chilli and char grill the tomato till it gets a nice grill marks on the skin. Now add both the ingredients in a mixer grinder to make nice puree.

    Add prepared puree to the salsa mixture followed by the tomato ketchup and mix well. Your tangy salsa is ready. Can Store it in the air tight container and refrigerate for further use.

  4. 4

    For Cheese Sauce : In pan add 2tbsp butter on low flame. Once the butter melts add in flour stir well. Add milk gradually and keep stirring till it's nicely dropping consistency. Add grated cheese at this stage and keep mixing it. Once the cheese melts seasoned with salt and mixed herbs. Your sauce is ready.

    Assemble the Khakhras on a plate topp it with salsa, Cheese sauce and garnish with coriander leaves. Ready to dig in...
