Spicy ripe plantain

We love fried sweet plantains. Adding Cayenne pepper to the plantains gives these a sweet & spicy taste.
Instead of deep/shallow frying, I airfryed these for a ‘healthier’ alternative.

Steps

Slice/cut plantains how you prefer to cut them

In a bowl, add plantains, cayenne pepper and salt. Mix well to combine.

Add oil to spiced plantains and arrange in one layer in airfryer and fry for 15 minutes (under 180 degrees Celsius)
- 4
Remove from airfryer tray and serve warm as a side dish.
