Prepare a batter by mixing together gram flour, all purpose flour, egg, salt, food coloring, hot oil, dhania and water. The batter shouldn't be too thick or too runny.

Mix together salt, chili powder and lemon juice in another bowl, make a small slit in the centre of the potatoes and fill with the paste.

Dip the potatoes into the batter and deep fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

Serve warm.
