The best, easy, delicious and absolutely scrumptious Paneer Tikka Recipe - Restaurant Style taste but made at home in pan. You can bake in oven. The Paneer is soft, flavored, marinated well and charred. Mustard oil adds an amazing flavour to the recipe so I would recommend that you don't skip it. You can sprinkle coriander leaves or dried mint leaves alongwith lemon juice before serving. The paneer cooked and charred perfectly. Crisp and spicy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. You can use black salt instead of regular salt. You can add a teaspoon of ajwain seeds too. You can also add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the marinade and mix before tossing the paneer and veggies. If using oven, Pre-heat the Oven to 220C/430F for 10 minutes and Bake for 15 minutes and Broil for 2-3 minutes till the paneer has a slight char on the surface.

Steps
- 1
Since the Paneer is store bought, cut into cubes and keep it in hot water for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, drain the water and set aside. Make sure the paneer is firm.
- 2
For this recipe, we need thick curd. Hang them in a muslin cloth for half an hour or so to remove the whey. Alternatively, you can keep it in a strainer. Set aside.
- 3
In a large bowl, add all the ingredients mentioned under "For the Marinade" and mix well.
- 4
Add the paneer cubes to it. Toss the paneer cubes in the marinade till they are well coated. Cover and set aside for at least half an hour or upto 2 hours.
- 5
Skewer the paneer cubes alternating with onions, tomato and green bell pepper.
- 6
Heat a non-stick pan with 1 tablespoon oil. Place the prepared skewers in it and let it cook on low heat, turning in between, till the paneer is slightly charred on the surface.
- 7
Carefully remove the skewers from the pan on to a serving plate. Squeeze lemon juice on them and serve it immediately with sliced onions.
