Finely chop green chilies, garlic and coriander. Cut onions into medium sized pieces. Mix gram flour with water thoroughly to avoid lumps.

Heat pan, put oil and all tadka ingredients. Add green chilies, curry leaves,garlic and onions and sauté till golden brown.

Add coriander leaves, salt and flour slurry and mix well. Cook for 10 minutes with lid and keep stirring in between. Pithale is ready to serve with rice or chapati.
