Ingredients

  • 9 ozpaneer (250 grams)
  • 2-3onions
  • 1-2green bell peppers
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 teaspoonblack pepper
  • 2 teaspoonsginger-garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoonsfinely chopped ginger, garlic, and green chili
  • 3-4 tablespoonsall-purpose flour (maida)
  • 2 tablespoonscornstarch (cornflour)
  • 2 pinchesfood coloring (optional)
  • 1 teaspoonvinegar
  • 1 teaspoonsoy sauce
  • 1 teaspoontomato ketchup
  • Refined oil, as needed, for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    First, cut the paneer into pieces. Add a little salt, black pepper, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and ginger-garlic paste. Mix well to coat the paneer evenly.

  2. 2

    When the oil is hot, fry the paneer pieces one by one until golden brown.

  3. 3

    Fry the onions and bell peppers as well.

  4. 4

    In another pan, sauté the chopped ginger, garlic, and green chili. Add the fried paneer, bell peppers, onions, vinegar, soy sauce, and tomato ketchup. Stir for 1-2 minutes to combine everything well.

  5. 5

    Your Chilli Paneer is ready to serve.
