Spinach (Palak) : Spinach is one of the richest plant sauces of Iron and it should be part of a healthy diet for everyone. Raw spinach is very rich in insoluble fiber, 25% having soluble fiber and 75% insoluble fiber. Spinach is good for the heart, diabetics and eyes.

Curd : Curds help in digestion as it has very good bacteria. Probiotics in curds acts as a mild laxative but, in case of diarrhoea and dysentery, it is a boon, if curd is used with rice.They help in weight reduction, good for your heart .

Ingredients

  • 100 gramsSpinach Leaves (Palak)
  • 1 cupWater
  • 1/2 cupCurd
  • 1Green chilli
  • 1/2 tspBlack Salt
  • 1/2 inchMango Ginger
  • 2 tspCooking Oil
  • 1 tspCumin Seeds
  • 1 PinchTurmeric Powder

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil water in a wok. Then add the spinach leaves. Let it boil for 3 to 4 minutes.

    After 3 to 4 minutes strain the spinach leaves and put them in the chilled water.

    Take a blending jar & add boiled spinach leaves, green chilli, black salt & mango Ginger. Blend them and then take aside.

    Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and turmeric powder to the hot oil. Then switch off the flame. Add this Tadka (tempering) to the blending stuff. Mix it well.

    After mix, raita is ready to serve.
