Banana Malpua 😋 😋🍌🍌

Sugar syrup: Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and heat till the sugar is dissolved. Increase the heat and boil the syrup for 5 minutes till it is slightly thickened.

Banana Malpua: Mash the bananas, add milk and sugar and combine well. In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients together. Mix dry and wet ingredients well till a smooth lump-free batter is formed. You can easily do this in a blender too. Let the batter rest for an hour in the refrigerator.

Heat oil or ghee. Pour a small amount of batter and cook till lightly browned on both sides. Make Malpua of your preferred size, but not too large. Repeat till all the batter is used up. Keep the cooked Malpua warm.

Dip the fried Malpua in the sugar syrup for few seconds.Remember the sugar syrup should be warm at this point.

Remove from the sugar syrup and garnish with chopped pista and enjoy hot hot Malpua ♥️
