Steps

Combine the flour, cornflour and salt during a deep bowl and blend well.

Add the butter and rub the mixture together with your fingertips.

Add the sugar and blend well using a spatula.

Add approx. 3 tbsp of ice-cold water to form a dough.

Put the dough within the refrigerator for quarter-hour.

Divide the dough into 2 equal portions.

Dust the rolling board with flour and roll some of the dough into a 175 mm. (7”) and (1/4") thickness diameter circle.

Cut with a round biscuit cutter to urge 8 portions.

Repeat steps 7 and eight to urge 8 more circles. Make a hole within the centre of those 8 circles with help of an apple corer or the other cutter with alittle hole.

Place all the circles on a baking tray and bake during a pre-heated oven at 160ºc (320ºf) for 25 minutes.
