  3. 1small onion, diced
  4. 1 jarspaghetti sauce
  5. Seasonings of choice: garlic powder, pepper, Italian seasoning
  6. Manicotti:
  7. 10-12Manicotti pasta tubes
  8. 2 cupsRicotta Cheese
  9. 1/2 cupgrated parmesan cheese
  10. 1egg
  11. 1 Tbsp.dried parsley
  12. 1 tsp.Italian Seasoning
  13. 1/2 tsp.garlic powder
  14. 1/4 tsp.black pepper
  15. Topping:
  16. 1 1/2 cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
  17. 1/4 cupgrated parmesan cheese

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook hamburger along with onion and seasonings of choice until browned; drain and return to pot. Add in spaghetti sauce and set aside.

  2. 2

In a large bowl combine ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, egg and all seasonings until well combined.

  3. 3

Place in a gallon size ziplock bag and snip a corner off the bottom to make a piping bag.

  4. 4

Grease a 9x13 baking dish and place half of the meat mixture in the bottom, spreading evenly.

  5. 5

Pipe the ricotta mixture into the Manicotti tubes one at a time and place on top of meat mixture. You will repeat this process until you are out of ricotta. I usually end up between 10 and 12.

  6. 6

    Top with remaining meat mixture.

  7. 7

Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.

  8. 8

Remove foil, top with cheeses and return to oven for additional 10 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

  9. 9

    Enjoy!
