Ingredients

30 minutes

  1. 200 gmpaneer
  2. 2medium tomato
  3. 2medium onion
  4. 1 inchginger
  5. 2green chilli
  6. 6-7garlic pods
  7. 12-15cashew nuts
  8. 4 tbspghee
  9. 20 gmbutter
  10. 1 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  11. 1 tspturmeric powder
  12. 1 tspCoriander powder
  13. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. 1 tspsugar
  16. 1small cinnamon stick
  17. 2cloves
  18. 2green cardamom
  19. 1bay leaf
  20. 1 tspdried fenugreek leaves
  21. 1 tspcumin seeds
  22. 2 tspcream of milk
  23. 4 tbspmilk
  24. Water as per requirement

Cooking Instructions

    Add 2 tbsp ghee in a pan then add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cumin seeds and cloves. Roast for 30 seconds and add cashew. Roast them till it becomes golden. Now add ginger, green chilli and garlic cloves cut into big pieces. Roast for few seconds. Add sliced onion, roast till translucent, finally add tomato and salt. Mix well and cover the lid cook for 3 to 4 minutes on low to medium flame.

    After 4 minutes open lid and peel skin of tomato with the help of a fork. Now let the mixture cool mean while we prepare marinated paneer. Take a pan add 1 tsp ghee and 10 gram of butter. Add 1/2 kashmiri red chilli and 1/2 tsp turmeric powder. Add paneer and roast for 2 minutes.finally add dried fenugreek leaves. Now Grind onion tomato mixture into a fine puree.

    Take a pan, heat 1 tbsp ghee and 10 grams butter. Add red chilli and turmeric powder. Pour tomato onion mixture and roast for 4 minutes. Add cream, coriander powder and milk, cook by continously stirring for 2 minutes on medium to high flame. Finally add paneer, sugar. Mix well, cover and cook for 4 minutes on medium flame. Add garam masala fenugreek leaves

    Garnish with coriander leaves.
