Ingredients

  1. 2 cuprava
  2. 2 cupsugar
  3. 1 cupfresh shredded coconut
  4. 1/2 cupghee
  5. 1 cupwater
  6. 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  7. few strands of saffron
  8. 2 tbspsliced almonds
  9. 20-25raisins
  10. 2 tspmilk

Cooking Instructions

    Mix rava and coconut and set aside for ten minutes.

    Heat ghee in a pan. Add coconut and rava mixture and roast until golden. This takes 20-25 minutes.

    In another pan heat sugar and water mixed together. Bring it to a boil. To clarify it add two teaspoons of milk. The syrup should be one string in consistency.

    Add the roasted rava and coconut to this syrup. Take it off the stove and let it stand for 20 mins.

    Add almonds and raisins or your choice of nuts to this mixture.

    Roll in to ladoos.
