#komolabhog #rasagulla #orangerasagulla I love doing fusion in my food and give it a healthy touch. So here is an orange flavored homemade Rasagulla's made quickly.
Steps
- 1
Boil 500 ml of milk. Squeeze orange extract from one fresh orange and half a lemon through a strainer. It will start splitting and form lumps. Drain through a muslin cloth and tie and hang for an hour.
- 2
Now take the Paneer into a plate, add 1/2 tsp of powdered Kesar, 1 tsp of grated Orange zest,1tbsp Flour/Maida. Mix and knead everything for 10 minutes until the mixture is smooth and starts leaving the plate. Now make small balls of the mixture and keep aside. This step is very important. So knead properly to get a smooth dough.
- 3
Take 1 cup of Orange Juice + 1 cup of water. Add 1/2 cup of Sugar, few Kesar Strands and start boiling the solution. When it starts boiling, add the paneer balls and cook with lid closed for 20 minutes on low flame.
- 4
Switch off and check. By now it would have doubled in size. Close and rest it for an hour or two. Refrigerate and serve chilled.
