Suji ka halwa easy quick dessert hy aur different variation ky sath bnaya jskta hy.usually nuts are added in halwa but I added dessicated coconut to give a bit different flavour.tip ye hy ky suji jaldi burn hojati hy so carefully bhonain. Coconut basi ya old na ho otherwise flavour kharab hota hy.

Ingredients

4-6 servings
  1. 125 gmSemolina(suji)
  2. 1/4 cupGhee
  3. 2 tbspmilk
  4. 3-4Green Cardamom
  5. 2-3 TbspDessicated coconut
  6. Sugar syrup
  7. 3/4 cupsugar(to taste)
  8. 1 cupwater
  9. 1/2 tspYellow food colour
  10. 1/2 tspRose water or Kewra

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Make sugar syrup.add sugar in water with yellow food colour and mix till completely dissolve.keep it simmering at low flame

    Melt ghee,add green cardamom.then add suji and fry to golden colour.dnt over burn.add milk and mix well

  3. 3

    Add sugar syrup in suji and mix well.stir properly to avoid any lumps.

    Top up with chop nuts like badam pista.sadly I ran out of nuts so I added dessicated coconut to garnish my halwa.enjoy quick easy dessert
