Ingredients

30 minutes
2 people (or 1 very hungry person)
  1. 10.8 ounce(aka one Birdseye brand bag) frozen Brussel sprouts (can also use fresh)
  2. 4large cloves garlic (or to taste)
  3. 3 tablespoonsolive oil
  4. Salt (to taste)

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

Microwave Brussel sprouts for recommended time on bag (usually 4 and 1/2 minutes)

  2. 2

If using fresh Brussel sprouts, boil in large pot with teaspoon of sugar until tender enough to be stabbed easily with a fork

  3. 3

Once cool enough to handle, halve Brussel sprouts

  4. 4

Mince garlic cloves to desired size (larger pieces end in a crunchier end texture)

  5. 5

In a large pan on medium heat, add olive oil and garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Then add halved Brussel sprouts

  6. 6

Turn heat up to medium high and cook, stirring/flipping semi frequently. But leave sprouts in place long enough to develop browned/ slightly charred outsides

  7. 7

Once Brussel sprouts have browned outsides and the garlic pieces have turned dark brown, take off heat. Season with salt to taste

  8. 8

    Serve
