Good All the Way to the Crusts! Simple Sandwich

This is a sandwich I sometimes make for my son as a snack.
Just make sure that the entire sandwich gets soaked in the egg mixture. Pan fry the toast over low heat, and finish over medium heat to get that nice golden brown color.
If you don't have ham style bacon, fry bacon strips before putting them in the sandwiches instead. Recipe by Kyoku

A Basic Cucumber Sandwich A Basic Cucumber Sandwich
When I was in high school, there was a bakery near the school that sold cucumber *only* sandwiches. They were cheap, so I bought them with my allowance. They were perfectly seasoned with salt, and delicious, and have remained in my memories.I thought back to those sandwiches, used my favorite yogurt sauce, and made my own variation. To prevent the sandwiches from becoming watery, be sure to squeeze out the salt-massaged cucumbers very well to remove excess moisture. Okay, I admit it, grilled cheese is so easy to do, so why a recipe for it? Most people use butter on the bread but I saw a cooking tip on TV years ago to use mayonnaise instead. It browns better and does not make the bread soggy. Deneen Flowers
