Over the years ive played around with different burger recipies, but this one is a old favourite with our family. Quick and easy to make and the kids can get involved making it too.

Over the years ive played around with different burger recipies, but this one is a old favourite with our family. Quick and easy to make and the kids can get involved making it too.

Put the mince beef into a large bowl

Blend or smash the crackers in a food bag until powdered
- 3
Add the cracker crumbs along with the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and mix together with your hands

Shape the mixture into one big ball and then split into 6 equal pieces and shape into individual balls.

Flatten each ball into a burger shape by using the palm of your hand and place them on a lightly oiled plate.

Drizzle with a little bit of olive oil and leave covered in the fridge until ready to cook. They will keep fine for upto 48 hours like this.

To cook, preheat a large pan on a medium high heat with a dollop of olive oil

Cook each burger for around 3-4 mins on each side. Add the sliced onions to the same pan and cook to one side

Serve on some nice fresh buns, top with your onions and add your favourite toppings. We like sliced Gerkins, tomato, jalapeños, lettuce, cheese and my 'secret burger sauce' recipie to be added soon.
