Ingredients

1 hr
16 pieces
  • 500 gflour (4 cups)
  • 1egg (+1 for brushing)
  • 240 gcold butter
  • Pinchbaking powder
  • Cold water
  • Prepared filling (meat+potato+carrots)

    In a clean bowl sieve flour add baking powder and mix add cold butter mix well then add cold water little by little until a dough is formed. Cover and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Meanwhile prepare your filling of choice, I used meat(beef), potato and carrots.

  3. 3

    Roll the dough and cut circles or use cutter, place your filling brush the edges with water then flip to cover. Line the meat pies in a greased pan and brush with egg. Bake for 15 minutes.
