First put maida, salt, cornflour, black pepper powder, red chili powder, curry powder, nutmeg powder in a bowl and mix well.

Then add vinegar and required water.

Whisk it nicely to a smooth batter.

Slice onions into a round ring shape. Then split the rings and keep them ready.

Take some bread crumbs in a bowl.

Pour oil into a pan for deep frying.

Now dip the onion rings one by one in the batter. Then roll it over the bread crumbs and deep fry in the oil.

Deep fry both sides in medium flame.

Remove from the oil when it's done and plate it.

Onion rings are ready to enjoy with sauce or chutney.
