Cereal Bars with Tahini, Fruits & Nuts
The easiest and tastiest bars I've ever made. I eat 1-2 pieces after a workout for energy, but also as a snack usually in the afternoon. They can also be consumed as a quick breakfast for those in a hurry!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Blend the banana and apple in a blender and add the honey after warming it slightly to prevent sticking.
- 2
Transfer the mixture to a deep bowl and add the tahini. Mix very well.
- 3
On a cutting board, chop the nuts and chocolate couverture into small pieces (if using chocolate chips, skip this step).
- 4
In a bowl, mix the oats, chocolate, and nuts, then add them to the initial mixture. Mix very well.
- 5
Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and pour the mixture onto it. Start spreading it with a spoon, then use the flat side of a knife to even out the top. This will help with even baking. If desired, smooth out the sides as well.
- 6
Bake at 340°F (170°C) with fan for 30 minutes.
- 7
Remove the baked mixture from the oven and let it cool completely on a rack. Then cut into pieces and enjoy!

Rice Cereal Bars with Peanut Butter Rice Cereal Bars with Peanut Butter
I used Kellogg's "Rice Krispies Squares Original Recipe" as a reference. Usually you use butter or margarine, but I used peanut butter instead. I added peanuts too, and changed the ingredients. I also added white chocolate since the rice cereal is not that sweet. When mixing the cereal and marshmallows together, it hardens and sets very fast, so it's pretty tough work. Try putting a little butter on the spatula - that is supposed to help. It's easier to put the mixture into the mold and press down with your hands rather than with a spatula. The white chocolate is optional, but puffed rice is not that sweet, so the bars taste better with chocolate. For 14 4cm x 6cm x 3cm bars. Recipe by VitaminY cookpad.japan -

Muesli breakfast bars Muesli breakfast bars
The original breakfast cereal called muesli — a German word meaning "mixture" — combined rolled oats with nuts and fruit.I am addicted to these, and so is everyone I give them to. Although they're quick to throw together, they do take nearly an 20 min to bake, so what I suggest is, make a batch at the weekend and then you will have the oaty, chewy bars ready and waiting for those days when you have to snatch breakfast on the hoof.recipe inspired by:Vegan Food and Living/September 2017 Cook Eat and Travel -
