How to make Khoya

Khoya is a dairy product,widely used in the cuisine of the Indian subcontinent . It is made of either dried whole milk or thickened by heating in an open pan. Today I have came with the recipe which will save our too much time and hassle free by only three ingredients.

Khoya is a dairy product,widely used in the cuisine of the Indian subcontinent . It is made of either dried whole milk or thickened by heating in an open pan. Today I have came with the recipe which will save our too much time and hassle free by only three ingredients.

In a pan add ghee and then milk on low heat,let ghee melt.

Now add milk powder to the pan and keep stirring so that there will be no lumps. Now on medium heat cook the mixture and keep stirring so that it should not stick to the bottom.

After 10 - 15 min you will see that mixture is turned into a soft dough and leaving the surface of pan.At this point your khoya is ready to use, cool it and can be stored in the refrigerator for more than 10 days.
