This recipe has been in my family since I was a child.

If you are using tonkatsu meat, cut the block into 4 pieces.

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 300 gramsPork (round, fillet, loin)
  2. 2Japanese leek
  3. 1Flour
  4. 1and 1/2 Egg
  5. 1Panko
  6. 1Vegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Season the pork with salt and pepper. Cut the leeks into 5-cm pieces.

    Skewer the meat and leek pieces in alternating order to make the skewers.

    Coat the skewers in the flour, egg, and panko, then fry in 170℃ oil until lightly browned.
