Rich and Healthy Sesame Pudding

I suddenly wanted to eat pudding, but I didn't want to go out...
I found sesame paste and thought "Oh, I should make sesame pudding!"
I think the only hint I have is to not cook it over high heat, I guess?
You can add kinako in Step 2 for additional flavor. Recipe by Kafeshi-

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Sprinkle gelatin over water to dissolve.
- 2
In a saucepan, add sesame paste and sugar, and combine well.
- 3
Turn on the heat (medium low) and slowly add milk, about 50 ml at a time. Combine well.
- 4
When all the milk has been added, bring the mixture to a simmer.
- 5
Melt the gelatin (from step 1) in a microwave and add to the pot. The mixture should almost be boiling at this point. Reduce the heat and combine thoroughly.
- 6
Can you tell that the mixture is getting thick in the Step 5 photo?
- 7
When the mixture is thickened, remove from heat and pour into a container. Strain the mixture if you want a smoother texture.
- 8
When the mixture has cooled, chill it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Bon appetit!

It prevents the mixture from getting lumpy. If you don't chill the mixture until thickened during Step 6, it might separate into 2 layers. Recipe by Hizuhi cookpad.japan -

I wanted to eat black sesame pudding, so I made some with ingredients I had on hand. It doesn't require a lot of dishes, so you can make it easily.Since you just microwave it, you don't need a pot! If you use a kitchen scale, you just have to mix! If you try replacing the milk with heavy cream, I guess it'll become a richer version. If the mixture separates, just think of it as a two-layer pudding! This time, for the picture, I decorated it a bit with a bit of black sesame cream and water. Recipe by Shinhina mama cookpad.japan -

White Sesame Pudding with Sesame Paste White Sesame Pudding with Sesame Paste
I had leftover sesame paste, so I dissolved that into milk and hardened it with gelatin to make pudding. The reason why you chill the bottom of the pot in ice-cold water after the gelatin is dissolved is to prevent the sesame paste and milk from separating. It also hardens much faster if you cool it down and stir to thicken before pouring it into a container. If you don't cool the mixture down thoroughly, it will form two layers. It's also tasty that way. For 4-5 servings. Recipe by nana recipe cookpad.japan -
