I've been making this for so long I don't even remember how and when I started, lol.
Probably, I was looking at other's recipes and thought I wanted to do it simply, so I came up with a version for our household.

I used shimeji mushrooms this time, but other types of mushrooms, green peppers, red peppers, onions, etc are also delicious.

Ingredients

3 servings
  • 300 gramsCoarsely chopped pork
  • 1packet Shimeji mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp☆Cooking sake
  • 2 tbsp☆Mirin
  • 2 tbsp☆Soy sauce
  • 15 grams☆Ginger

Steps

  1. 1

    Grate the ginger. Mix the ☆ ingredients together and set aside. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and separate.

    Add oil (not listed) to a heated pan and cook the pork on medium heat. Once cooked through, add the mushrooms and cook until wilted.

    Add the ☆ ingredients, cover with a lid and boil. Open the lid and stir two or three times.

    Once the juices have cooked, it's finished!

    This has bean sprouts and onion. They're not very visible though.
