Wash and finely cut the French beans

Then take a kadai and heat it. When it gets hot add to it a tadka of mustard seeds and the dry red chillie and pinch of asafoetida

When all this starts spluttering add the cut French beans and mix for a second or so and salt to taste.

Then cover this Kadai with a cover and add water on top of the cover.

When you see the water evapourating from the cover remove it. Sprinkle the freshly grated coconut and serve.
