Whether it's Holi or any celebration, sweets are always made for every festival. This simple-looking cashew and almond katli is not only delicious but also healthy.

Soak the cashews and almonds overnight. In the morning, peel the skins off the almonds.

Add the cashews and peeled almonds to a blender jar. Add a little water and blend into a fine paste.

Heat the ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add the cashew and almond paste, then add the sugar.

Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring continuously. It will take about 10 to 15 minutes to cook on low heat.

Continue cooking until the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan.

Transfer the mixture onto a greased plate and spread it evenly. Place the edible silver leaf on top and let it cool.

Once cooled, cut into your desired shapes and enjoy for Holi or any festive occasion.
