Traditional Khichdi with secret ingredients

Take a pan add oil after the oil is heated add jeru ajwaine green chili chopped garlic and hing now let them saut for few sec.

Add all the vegetables in the pan and saut them for 1 or 2 min now add all the powders (read chili haldi and coriander) and salt as per taste. Cook them for 5 min now add all lentils millets and rice now mix them well and add two glasses of water and simmer them for 20 min on low flame.

After 20 min open the lid and check if the khicdi is cooked probably 80% the khicdi will be cooked NOW IT'S TIME TO ADD OUR SECRET INGREDIENT WHICH IS Buttermilk (1 glass)

Now again cook for 8-10 min and after 10 min check if its ready 100% It will be ready

Now for the flavor and garnishing we will add 2 big spoon ghee red chili powder and 1 tbsp ajwaine and coriander leaves now close the lid for 5 min after 5 min the traditional khicdi will be ready and now you can serve the hot delicious mouthwatering khicdi sit back and enjoy your meal.
