Korean-Style Tofu Teriyaki Easily Made in 10 Minutes

This is usually made by coating the tofu in katakuriko, but I omitted the katakuriko coating step for the sake of speed. It's still delicious though!
Adjust the flavor depending on how much sauce is reduced. This keeps in the refrigerator for a few days. Recipe by Sonechiko

Steps
- 1
Slice the tofu 1 cm thick. Put the sliced tofu on paper towels, and microwave for 1 minute to drain off the excess water. Sprinkle with a little salt. Combine the sauce ingredients.
- 2
Heat up some oil in a frying pan, and pan fry the tofu until golden brown on both sides!
- 3
Wipe out any excess oil from the pan and add the sauce. Simmer and reduce the sauce while turning the tofu pieces over occasionally.
- 4
Top with sesame seeds to serve. Sprinkle on some ground chili pepper to add spice for grownup palates.
