Pork with Salt Sauce and Cucumber

My oldest son loves cucumber so much, you might wonder if he's actually a kappa. Plus, he adores salty foods. So, this recipe dedicated to him.
The amount of salt at step 5 depends on how much salt and pepper you add at step 3, so add to taste.
At summer time, you'll get lots and lots of cucumbers and don't know what to do with it When that happens, you can use it all up in this delicious way.

Steps
- 1
Peel the skin of the cucumber into a striped pattern (This is so that the flavors will be absorbed more easily.)
- 2
Turn it around while cutting it into chunks.
- 3
Pour sesame oil in a pan and stir-fry the garlic and ginger over low heat. When it becomes fragrant, add the pork and sprinkle salt and pepper over the mixture.
- 4
Stir-fry over high heat and add the onion when the color of the meat changes. When the onion is translucent, add the cucumber.
- 5
When the cucumber starts to get hot, add sake and stir-fry quickly. When the moisture in the pan is gone, add the salt (a little less than 1 teaspoon), then add the sesame seeds and mix.
- 6
This is a cabbage version. Use about 1/2 of a small cabbage.
