Making spring rolls (nem) is very common, and I’ve already shared how to fry them using an air fryer, so I won’t repeat that here. The advantage of baking spring rolls is that they use very little oil, but the downside is they aren’t as crispy.

Making spring rolls (nem) is very common, and I’ve already shared how to fry them using an air fryer, so I won’t repeat that here. The advantage of baking spring rolls is that they use very little oil, but the downside is they aren’t as crispy.
Cooking Instructions

After making the spring rolls (nem), use a cotton pad or paper towel to lightly brush each roll with cooking oil. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

When the oven is hot, lower the temperature to 340°F (170°C), arrange the spring rolls on a baking tray, and bake for 8 minutes for chicken spring rolls. For pork or seafood filling, bake for 10 minutes (I haven’t tried seafood, but it should cook faster than chicken).

If you buy pre-made frozen spring rolls from the store, let them thaw naturally, then brush with oil as above.
