Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp.peppercorns,
  • 1tsp toor dal,
  • 20 garlic gloves
  • 2 tsp urad dal,
  • 2 red chilli,
  • as needed a big lemon size tamarind,
  • 2 tbspGingelly oil ,
  • as per taste Salt
  • as required water
  • 1/2 tspMustard seeds,
  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek ,
  • 1/2 tsphing

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat a pan with 1 tsp oil. Add pepper corns, urad dal, thur dal and red chillies. Roast them for 2 minutes

    Let them oil. Add it into mixer jar and grind them to a fine paste.

    Peek off the garlic

    Heat a pan. Add Gingelly oil add mustard, fenugeek, hing, garlic gloves and curry leaves. Saute for a while. Add tamarind juice and ground paste. Add salt and let it boil

    Once oil separated, switch off the flame and serve hot with rice.
