Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsthick poha (rice flakes)
  2. 1 medium onions finely chopped
  3. 1 small potato peeled and chopped
  4. 1/3 teaspoonmustard seeds
  5. 8-10curry leaves
  6. 1green chilli finely chopped
  7. 2tomatoes ,finely chopped
  8. 1 pinch(hing)
  9. 1 1/2 table spoonpeanuts
  10. 1/4 teaspoonturmeric powder
  11. 1 teaspoonlemon juice
  12. as per tasteSalt
  13. 2 tablespoonsoil
  14. 1/4 cupgreen peas
  15. 2 tablespoonsfinely chopped coriander leaves

  1. 1

    Take poha in a large strainer. Wash it 1-2 times by gently shifting them with your fingers under running water. Drain the excess water through a strainer. Heat 2tablespoons oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds green chili curry leaves peanuts green peas and add chopped onions And saute until onions turn pink.

    Add chopped potatoes and salt (add salt only for potatoes). Mix well and cook covered. This will take around 3-4 minutes. Add turmeric powder and tomatoes. Mix well and cook for a minute.

    Add soaked pigs. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add lemon juice and finely chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and turned off the flame poha is ready for serving.
