I loved the frozen fried chicken given as a present from Nagoya, so I tried to recreate the sauce by myself.

I usually cut the joints of the chicken wings but you don't have to.

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 6Chicken wings
  2. 1 pinchSalt and pepper
  3. 1Katakuriko
  4. 2 tbspSoy sauce
  5. 2 tbspMirin
  6. 1 tbsp● Sake
  7. 1generous amount ● Coarsely ground black pepper
  8. 2 tbsp● Sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Mix the ● in a bowl.

    Put the chicken and katakuriko in a plastic bag and shake to coat the chicken evenly.

  3. 3

    Deep-fry the chicken in 160-170°C oil slowly until crisp for about 10 minutes.

    Coat the chicken with the mixed seasonings once fried and serve on a plate.

    It tastes good even when cold, so it's ideal to pack in your bento.
