I wanted to make chewy pao de queijo with kitchen staple ingredients.

Place the katakuriko and baking powder in a plastic bag. Tie up the bag and shake well.

In a microwave-safe bowl, add the margarine, milk and salt and put in the microwave and bring to a boil.

When the milk mixture starts to boil, take it out from the microwave and add the dry ingredients from Step 1 at once and combine with a wooden spatula.

Add the beaten egg a little by little, then add the cheese (melt the cheese into the dough.)

Make small balls by hand, smoothing out their the surface. Place the dough balls on a tray lined with a baking sheet and bake in a 190℃ (373 Fahrenheit) oven for 15 minutes.
