Garlic Butter Naan

Today, we'll make butter naan using butter and all-purpose flour. Butter naan is one of the most popular dishes served at restaurants and roadside eateries. You can easily make it at home, and I've added a garlic flavor to this version.

Today, we'll make butter naan using butter and all-purpose flour. Butter naan is one of the most popular dishes served at restaurants and roadside eateries. You can easily make it at home, and I've added a garlic flavor to this version.
Cooking Instructions

Add the all-purpose flour to a large bowl.

Mix in the butter, yogurt, salt, minced garlic, and baking powder with the flour.

If needed, add a little milk and knead into a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, knead the dough again until smooth.

Divide the dough into portions, roll each one out, and sprinkle cilantro on top. Press it in gently with a rolling pin.

Place the naan on a hot, heavy-bottomed frying pan. When one side is lightly cooked, flip it, sprinkle a little water, cover, and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Remove from the pan and cook directly over the gas flame until nicely charred. Brush generously with butter and serve hot with your favorite vegetable dish.
