Starbucks's muffins were the best muffins I have ever had, so I wanted to make them myself.

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 210 gramsCake flour
  2. 90 gramsButter
  3. 60 gramsSugar
  4. 2Eggs
  5. 160 gramsMilk
  6. 1Milk chocolate chunks
  7. 3drops Vanilla extract
  8. 3 tspBaking powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Sift the cake flour. Cut the chocolate chunks in half if needed.

  2. 2

Put the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds and then stir, and continue heating and stirring until you have melted butter.

  3. 3

In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and beat with a whisk. Preheat the oven at this point.

  4. 4

Add the sugar and mix it for about 3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Pour in the melted butter.

  6. 6

Pour in the milk while stirring.

  7. 7

    Add the vanilla extract.

  8. 8

Add the sifted flour and the baking powder, and fold in the batter with a rubber spatula, as though you are cutting the batter and scooping it from the bottom.

  9. 9

Pour into the muffin cups. You can add chunks of chocolates in between.

  10. 10

Fill the cups 70% of the way. Top it with more chocolate.

  11. 11

Bake it in a preheated oven at 170℃ for about 30 minutes. Insert a bamboo skewer and if it comes out clean, it is done.
