Ingredients

1 hour
10-15 servings
  • 500-600 gmsCherries pitted
  • 5Whole Eggs
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 1 cupcream
  • 1 cupMaida/ All-purpose flour
  • 1.25-1.5 cupssugar (depending on the sweetness of the cherry)
  • 1/4 tspSalt
  • 1 TspVanilla beans powder or you can use Vanilla extract
  • As neededPowdered sugar or icing sugar for dusting

    Wash & Prepare the cherries. Take out the seeds with a skewer or easier is with the cherry pitter.

  2. 2

    Whisk egg, salt, and sugar, add the milk and cream, and whisk. If using vanilla bean powder mix it with flour. Shift the flour and add to the liquid mixture and mix it well. Pour it in the prepared baking tray along with the cherries.

    Bake for 1 hour with a hot water bath at 250 °F in a preheated oven. Let it cool for 15-20 minutes, dust it with powdered sugar, cut it into pieces and serve warm. It can be eaten Chill too but the texture firms up. The #leftovers You can reheat in burst seconds in the microwave till it's warm enough or reheat it in the oven at 350°F / 180°C for 10 -15 minutes.
