For Omurice ~ Chicken Rice For Omurice ~ Chicken Rice
Stir-fried ketchup rice is high in calories, so I always make it in the rice cooker. My son likes strong flavors, so I always add a little ketchup to the rice when it's done. I sometimes make omurice, but my son prefers the egg mixed in.This time I used ham, but if you are using chicken, slice it into small pieces, season it with salt and pepper, and cook it with the rice in the rice cooker. Green pepper browns when cooked, so I stir-fry half the amount and add it at the end for a nice, colorful finish. Of course, you can just cook it all in the rice cooker if you want! My husband requested this dish so I tried it out. I managed to cook this in a short time -- it was surprisingly easy!-Please simmer the chicken until it becomes tender. Please skim off the scum!-I use spicy curry roux for my family. If you are using sweet curry roux, add ketchup to your liking.-I recommend adding heavy cream or coffee creamer to make the taste mild. Japanese-Style Curry Rice Bowl Simple Version Japanese-Style Curry Rice Bowl Simple Version
I really liked the curry rice bowl that I ate at my favorite udon restaurant a long time ago, but I can't get it anymore, so I decided to make it myself. Without using unnecessary seasonings, this can become a fairly authentic taste using just these fundamental ingredients.Unlike regular curry, there is is no need to simmer this. The meat will toughen if you overcook it, so quickly sautéing and bringing it to a simmer once is OK. The aburaage is used to draw the flavor out, so I sautéed it together without draining the oil. This saves time; it's killing two birds with one stone! You can adjust the spiciness by changing the curry roux, or adding curry powder while tasting. For 2~3 people. Recipe by YU-RI cookpad.japan -
Omurice! Japanese Omlet Rice Omurice! Japanese Omlet Rice
Omurice is a Japanese style dish which is an omelet containing a filling of stir-fried rice with tomato catsup. This is a favorite for kids, and my favorite, too! It might not be easy to cover with the egg at the first, but take your time to practice. Even if it doesn't look right, it will still taste good. Don't worry! Yuki
