Fluffy & Creamy Yamaimo Salad

I wanted to make Japanese potato salad. This is a family favorite.
If you don't have kombu tea, you can omit it or replace with shio-kombu. Don't mash the yamaimo too much, there should be some texture left. Recipe by Haranouenoponyoponyo

Steps
- 1
Peel the yamaimo and cut into thick rectangular or round slices.
- 2
Place the yamaimo in a microwave-proof bowl or plate covered with cling film. Heat for 8 minutes on 600 W. Mash roughly with a fork.
- 3
Once you've made the mashed yamaimo, combine with the ● seasonings while it's still warm. Drain the oil from the tuna before adding it.
- 4
Mix everything well. Then chill well in the fridge.
- 5
Serve on a plate.
