Grandma's spaghetti sauce Grandma's spaghetti sauce
My grandma use to make this sauce all the time and freeze the left over for quick easy meals during the week. Sometimes I get crazy and add black olives, green pepper, red pepper and sun dried tomatoes for a chunky sauce. britterz90 -
Sweet Savoury Pasta Meat Sauce Kid-Friendly (Bolognese) Sweet Savoury Pasta Meat Sauce Kid-Friendly (Bolognese)
Here in Manila we love our spaghetti a bit sweetish and very saucy. 😋 So both the kids and kids at heart love it.This was gone after the first two sets of guests arrived! Spaghetti is always a crowd pleaser in gatherings here. You can use your favorite pasta on this too.Sweet tomato / spaghetti sauces are readily available in our supermarkets in Manila. If there aren't any in your area, just add brown sugar to adjust the sweetness. :) I still use fresh tomatoes when making pasta sauce, as it enhances the flavor (which is not common practice here). My rule is, don't just open something and heat it, always add to it and make it your own! 😊 I also combine different types/flavors of the tomato/spaghetti sauces, because it makes the end result better and tastier. Spaghetti with "Meat" Sauce Spaghetti with "Meat" Sauce
Its summertime and I wanted to make a lentil dinner. Usually I make Lentil Stew but its too hot for that. So I wanted to do something else. I found this recipe in my Forks Over Knives cookbook called Spaghetti with Lentil Ragu. This "meat" sauce is based on that recipe. The recipe calls for diced tomatoes but I chose a can of crushed tomatoes to make a sauce. I also put the lentils through a blender to make the lentils more ground meat like . Topping it with cheddar cheese really finished it off perfectly. I hope you'll like it as much as my family did. Debbie -
Spaghetti with Tomato and Mascarpone Sauce Spaghetti with Tomato and Mascarpone Sauce
I wanted to hurry up and use the mascarpone I had left over from when I made lasagna. If you feel that the store-bought tomato sauce is missing something in the flavor department, your preserved olives will come in handy. With the chili and garlic flavor, this can be used with other dishes. Recipe by Brandy cookpad.japan -

Fuhgitaboudit Spaghetti Sauce Fuhgitaboudit Spaghetti Sauce
I wanted to make a good, homemade spaghetti sauce, but it's the middle of summer and I definitely didn't want to warm up my house any more than I had to. What ensued was my endeavors to make a good, hearty spaghetti sauce in my slow cooker. The result is this easy and delicious sauce you can cook all day without heating up your kitchen. You will use your stove minimally to prep your tomato paste infused veggies, but after that just throw it all in the crock pot and "fuhgitaboudit". StephieCanCook -
Homemade pizza sauce Homemade pizza sauce
This is my own easy recipe for homemade pizza sauce. The below makes enough for approximately one large pizza. Increase all ingredients for more sauce. My family likes a very sweet pizza sauce. If you don't want it to be very sweet instead of grape/cherry tomatoes use 4 cans of crushed tomatoes and only 1/4 a cup of Sugar. Ticsen Vorel -

Linguini with fresh Tomato Sauce (Makaronia Me Tomata Salsa) Linguini with fresh Tomato Sauce (Makaronia Me Tomata Salsa)
This recipe has been sitting in my draft box for a while now, but for some reason I really never got around to making it. Today, it’s very cold and at the moment it’s snowing and I don’t want to make soup, so I decided on this delicious pasta dish which will work just fine. New Year Eve seems to getting closer, and I still haven’t planned out the New Year Eve Menu not really sure what it is I want to make 😦 but one thing I do know for sure is we will be making the classic Greek Cake Vasilopita.During the holidays we tend to make too much food and this means too many leftovers. This year there was wayyy to much leftovers than previous years, the reason as you all know was due to the fact of the passing of our dog Marka, no one really had a appetite for eating big…:( Life must go on and so it will as the New Year approaches.I hope you enjoy this delicious pasta dish not to many ingredients and very quick to make. 🙂 Foodzesty
