I created this recipe because I wanted to eat something delicious and low calories.

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1/2 blockFirm tofu
  2. 3leaves Cabbage
  3. 2 tspBonito dashi stock granules
  4. 1Cheese and other ingredients
  5. 1as much as you'd like Okonomiyaki sauce
  6. 1Mayonnaise (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Add the tofu (without draining) into a bowl and mash. Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, and cut your favourite ingredients as well.

    Add the ingredients into the bowl with the tofu, and mix in the bonito flavoured dashi stock granules.

  3. 3

    Transfer the Step 2 mixture onto a flat plate, smooth it out, then cover with plastic wrap.

  4. 4

    Microwave for 6 minutes. When it's cooked, remove from the microwave, swirl the sauce on, and you're done.

  5. 5

    It's ok even if the shape of okonomiyaki collapses after microwaving. Flatten it again along the shape of the plate, then it will go back to the original shape.
