Delicious Tomato and Tuna Chilled Pasta

This is my favorite cold pasta with tomatoes.
I made my own version of a fruity taste that I had at a restaurant before.
Be sure to thoroughly drain the pasta.
I don't really like raw garlic, so I made it into a garlic oil.
If you don't mind the taste of garlic, you can skip Step 1 and use grated garlic instead. Recipe by kako*
Delicious Tomato and Tuna Chilled Pasta

Cooking Instructions

Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a small pot, add the garlic, and turn the heat to low. Turn off the heat when fragrant.

Boil water in a pot and parboil the tomatoes. Then, cut the tomatoes into 1 cm chunks. At this time, remove the stems.

Finely chop 6 shiso leaves and julienne 4 shiso leaves.

Put the garlic oil from Step 1 into a bowl with the * seasoning ingredients and the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a bowl and mix well.

Add the tomatoes from Step 4, the tuna, and the chopped shiso leaves and mix together. Chill in the refrigerator. (If you're in a rush, pop it in the freezer.)

Boil the pasta for a minute longer than the instructions on the package, rinse in running water, and chill in ice water.

Drain the pasta well and mix with the well-chilled sauce from Step 5. Transfer to dishes and garnish with the julienned shiso leaves.
