Moong chilla (or cheela) made with sprouted moong beans is an extremely nutritious recipe for breakfast or for a light lunch or dinner. Serve with coconut chutney or tomato ketchup.

Wash and Soak moong Daal in water for 4 hours. Strain the water and tie dal in a muslin cloth for 6 hours. Damp the cloth in between. Sprouts will come. Then transfer it in a mixer and grind to a fine paste.

Add all dry masale mentioned about and mix thoroughly. Cut brown bread diagonally. Apply 2 tb spoon dal paste on one side of bread.

Heat a non-stick griddle and put bread slices on griddle pointing dalportion ib griddle. Now apply dal paste on other side of bread. Shallow fry by applying litte oil.

Flip the side and Shallow fry from other side also.

Serve hot with Tomato ketchup.
