Rolled Sweet N' Sour Pork - No Deep Frying

cookpad.japan
cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp

I tried making sweet n' sour pork with a cheap cut of meat, and using just one frying pan.

・If you first cook the meat really well, it will be fragrant, just as if you had deep fried.
・Using pork belly meat will make this juicy, and using loin will produce a lighter taste.
This time I used pork loin, as shown in the photo. Recipe by taco_bon

  4. 4

Cover with a lid and steam-cook for 2~3 minutes over medium heat so that they cook through. Wipe the excess grease with a paper towel, once the meat has cooked through.

  5. 5

Add garlic and ginger to the pan in Step 4. After spreading it throughout the mixture, add in the vegetables from step 1, and roughly cook through.

  6. 6

Stir in the flavoring ingredients from Step 1, and once it has thickened throughout, it's done.
