1 cup samo (fasting rice) clean wash and soak for 15 minutes..

Put one pan on flame add 2tablespoon oil add Jeera and Curry patta and green chillies pieces roast little now add peel and cut small pieces of potatoes sprinkle some Sendha namak (fasting salt). Cook for 5 to 7 minutes add finely chopped tomatoes.. Now add 3 cups of water. Let the water boiled now add Sendha namak for samo and 1/2 teaspoon sugar..add samo to the boiling water cook for 7 to 10 minutes or rice cooked completely..

Serve with curd.. if not fasting than with tomato ketchup tastes good..
